Trio Sefaradi sa Flory Jagoda




Poreklom iz Vlasenice u Bosni, Flori Jagoda je preživela rat bekstvom preko Italije, odakle se po završetku rata iselila za Sjedinjene države. Od dolaska u Ameriku, Flori Jagoda je radila na očuvanju balkanske sefardske muzičke tradicije, a postala je i snažan zagovornik očuvanja Ladina. Podučavala je svoj jedinstveni repertoar brojnim studentima i učestvovala u radionicama i društvenim grupama posvećenim očuvanju sefardske muzike, jezika i kulture. Njena zainteresovanost i posvećenost su joj je doneli titulu "čuvarke plamena".

Jagoda je snimila i izdala četiri komercijalna albuma: "Arvoliko" (malo drvo, po drvetu koje stoji na mjestu masovne grobnice u Vlasenici), "Uspomene na Sarajevo", "La Nona Kanto" (baka pjeva) i "Kantikas Di Mi Nona" ( Pesme moje bake). Pored toga, njene pesme su obrađene od strane mnogih umetnika. "Ocho Kandelikes", koja se pojavila u Tomu 4 Milken Archive-a u aranžmanu "The Western Wind" vokalnog ansambla, jedna je od njenih najpopularnijih pesama, i bila je pokrivena od strane mnogih umetnika - uključujući, poslednji put, bend Portland Pink Martini na albumu za 2010 godinu.

Jagoda je 2002. godine dobila stipendiju nacionalne baštine od strane NEA, a takođe je služila kao majstor umjetnosti u Folklife programu edukacije Virginia Foundation za humanističke nauke. Njen život i muzika dokumentovani su u filmu iz 2000. godine "Ključ iz Španije: Pesme i priče o Flori Jagodi" bosansko-američke etnomuzikologinje Ankice Petrović. Originally from Vlasenica in Bosnia, Flory Jagoda has survived the war escaping through the Italian zone, emigrating to the US after the war. Since coming to America, Jagoda has carried on the Sephardi musical traditions of the Balkans and has also become a strong advocate for the preservation of the Ladino language. She has taught her unique repertoire to scores of students and participated in workshops and social groups dedicated to preserving the Ladino language. Her interest in and commitment to the preservation of Sephardi culture and heritage has earned her the sobriquet "the keeper of the flame." Jagoda has recorded and released four albums commercially: Arvoliko (Little Tree, after a tree that stands on the site of her family’s mass grave in Vlasenica), Memories of Sarajevo, La Nona Kanto (The Grandmother Sings), and Kantikas Di Mi Nona (Songs of My Grandmother). Additionally, her songs have been recorded by countless artists. Ocho Kandelikes, which is featured in Volume 4 of the Milken Archive in an arrangement by The Western Wind vocal ensemble, is one of her most popular songs and has been covered by many artists—including, most recently, by the Portland band Pink Martini on a 2010 holiday album. Jagoda was bestowed a National Heritage Fellowship by the NEA in 2002 and has also served as a Master Artist in the Folklife Apprenticeship Program for the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. Her life and music were documented in the 2000 film The Key from Spain: The Songs and Stories of Flory Jagoda by Bosnian-American ethnomusicologist Ankica Petrovic. As of 2013, a biographical film is in production by the JEMGLO organization.

Srpsko-Ladino rečnik Drite Tutunović

 


Značaj poznavanja maternjeg jezika Drita Tutunović je počela da uviđa zahvaljujući svojoj baki koja joj je često govorila da „Ne možeš reći da si Sefard i da si to što jesi ako bar nešto ne znaš od svog jezika“. Vremenom je počela da zapisuje sve reči kojih se sećala i to je rezultovalo - rečnikom.

Rečnik je izašao iz štampe u decembru 1992, kada se obeležavala manifestacija pod nazivom „Sefarad 92" kada se španski kralj Huan Karlos izvinio Jevrejima i izjavio da mogu da se vrate u Španiju. Oko 5000 reči i izraza zapisala je bez ikakvog prethodnog uzora, već isključivo iz sopstvenog pamćenja. Imala je dosta poteškoća sa prisećanjem određenih reči i izraza iz svakodnevnog života, pri čemu je jedinu pomoć mogla da joj pruži rodbina. Rečnik Drite Tutunović bio je značajan zato što predstavlja prvi čin pamćenja i edukacije Ladina u Srbiji.


Pesme od srca - Kantigas del korazon



Druga zbirka poezije Drite Tutunović je nastala na predlog tadašnjeg španskog ambasadora u Beogradu Huaristija, i zove se Pesme od srca (Kantigas del korazon). Sa režiserom i muzičarom Stefanom Sablićem uradila je i CD Odakle ti te oči? (Donde tiyenes ojos?), na kom se nalaze različite običajne, svadbene pesme kao i nekoliko dečjih uspavanki. Aranžmani pesama su urađeni na način da se približe mlađoj populaciji.

Pesma nad pesmama / The Song of Songs, Ladino, Beč / Vienna, Rashi script 1814

Initially, The Song of Songs in the Targumic Tradition was intended as a textbook for the study of the Aramaic Targum of the Song of Songs. Then, it became apparent that the Ladino version of this Targum in Roman characters, entitled Paraphrasis Caldaica, Amsterdam 1664, along with Avraham Asa's, Constantinople 1744 Romanized Ladino version, as well as my own 1992 modern Ladino version, could be a welcome addition.

By the time the layout of these five texts, i.e. the Aramaic Targum, my English translation, the Paraphrasis of 1664, Asa's version of 1744, and my 1992 revised Ladino version, was finalized, a rare bonanza crossed my path when I found yet another Ladino version in fully vocalized, square Hebrew letters! It had been included in Rabbi Abraham Laniado's mystical commentary on the Song of Songs, entitled Nequdoth ha-Kasef, Venice 1619, itself copied from an earlier, Salonika 1600, Ladino version.

Finally, for this to be a balanced study tool what was missing was a text in the Rashi script. This I found in Israel Hayyim's Vienna 1814 edition for which yet another Romanization was provided. In the Remarks on the Ladino Versions, each component is briefly evaluated, followed by a comparative Ladino-English Glossary of Select Lexical Items. Link.
